Step 1: Visit Trezor.io/Start

Step 2: Prepare Your Trezor Device

  1. Unbox Your Trezor: Carefully unbox your Trezor device and ensure all accessories are included.

  2. Connect Your Trezor: Use the provided USB cable to connect your Trezor to your computer or mobile device.

Step 3: Initialize Your Trezor Device

  1. Install Trezor Bridge (Desktop Users):

    • If you’re using a desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux), you'll need to install Trezor Bridge. This software facilitates communication between your Trezor device and your computer.

    • Follow the instructions on Trezor.io/Start to download and install Trezor Bridge.

  2. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Once connected, follow the on-screen prompts to initialize your Trezor device.

    • Create a PIN code: Set a PIN code on your Trezor device to secure access.

  3. Backup Your Recovery Seed:

    • During setup, your Trezor device will generate a recovery seed phrase (usually 12 to 24 words).

    • Write down this seed phrase in the correct order and store it safely offline. This seed phrase is crucial for recovering access to your wallet if your Trezor device is lost, stolen, or damaged.
